Cookies and Local Storage Policy
Last updated: 18 August 2026
The i_seeee website ("Site"), an independent art advisory and platform operated by Naama Rahamim / i_seeee, uses browser storage technologies — primarily local storage — rather than traditional tracking cookies. This Policy explains what the Site stores in your browser, why, and for how long.
1. Cookies versus local storage
Many websites use "cookies" (small text files placed in your browser). The i_seeee website currently uses local storage stored within your browser, which is different from traditional cookies.
The Site does not currently use:
- Google Analytics cookies;
- Meta Pixel or advertising cookies; or
- newsletter, heatmap, or session-recording tracking.
If analytics or marketing tools are introduced in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly.
2. How the Site uses browser storage
The Site uses browser storage for the following purposes:
2.1 Essential — authentication and session
These items are necessary for the Site to function and to keep you logged in:
| Item | Purpose | Essential? | Lifetime | |---|---|---|---| | Session token (stored under the application's access-token keys) | Identifies your authenticated session so you stay logged in | Yes | Until you log out or clear storage | | Application configuration values | Bootstraps the application and handles redirect after sign-in | Yes | Persistent until cleared |
These items are required for the Site to operate. If you delete them, you will be logged out and some features may not work until you sign in again.
2.2 Functional — referral attribution
If you arrive at the Site through a referral link, the referral code is stored in your browser so that a successful referral can be attributed later.
| Item | Purpose | Essential? | Lifetime | |---|---|---|---| | Referral attribution | Remembers the referral code of the person who referred you | No | Approximately 12 months |
You can remove this at any time by clearing your browser storage. If attribution is removed, no referral can be credited afterward.
2.3 Functional — guest favorites
Visitors who are not logged in can still save favorite artworks in their own browser.
| Item | Purpose | Essential? | Lifetime | |---|---|---|---| | Guest favorites | Stores artwork IDs you have favorited while not logged in | No | Until you clear your browser storage |
When you log in, favorites are saved to your account instead.
2.4 Functional — form drafts
To avoid losing your work, in-progress form data is saved temporarily in your browser.
| Item | Purpose | Essential? | Lifetime | |---|---|---|---| | Artwork submission draft | Saves an in-progress artwork submission form | No | Up to 30 days, or immediately on successful submission | | Collection-request draft | Saves an in-progress collection-request form (text fields only; images are not saved locally) | No | Up to 30 days, or immediately on successful submission |
Drafts are automatically deleted after 30 days. Clearing your browser storage also removes them immediately.
3. How to manage or delete stored information
You can manage or delete any of these items at any time through your browser settings (for example, by clearing site data or local storage). Removing essential items will log you out; removing functional items will simply restore the Site to its default state.
4. No advertising or analytics storage today
The Site does not currently include advertising or analytics storage. Accordingly, no "accept all cookies" banner is shown, because there are no analytics or advertising cookies to accept. If such tools are introduced in the future, an appropriate consent mechanism will be added.
